Gold Coast Boat Hire
Gold Coast Boat Hire Pty Ltd has self-drive high quality boats for hire, which are very easy to operate.
Each boat is equipped with a fish-finder, canopy, maps, all safety gear including life jackets, rod holders, and a yabby pump. A full tank of fuel is included as part of the hire fee.
We launch the boats for you at the Paradise Point boat ramp, located at 16 Paradise Parade, Paradise Point. Alternatively, experienced drivers are welcome to tow vessels Gold Coast One or Gold Coast Two behind your car to another boat ramp of your choice.

We offer half-day (4 hours), full-day (8 hours), 24 hour, and multi-day rates for our vessels - so whether you would just like a few hours fishing the pristine waterways of the Southport Broadwater and Southern Moreton Bay, or a lazy few days camping on the beautiful South Stradbroke Island, Gold Coast Boat Hire can meet your needs!
Please note a QLD or interstate boat license needs to be sighted on the day of hire for vessel Gold Coast Two, the boats are not permitted to be driven at night, and the boats must remain within defined QLD smooth water limits (ie. the boats cannot be taken offshore through the Gold Coast Seaway or Jumpinpin Bar). A maximum of 4 persons are permitted to be on each boat at any time.
We sell a range of bait including prawns, squid, WA pilchards, pipis, chicken frames, and mullet. We also sell ice and a small range of tackle. Fishing rods and crab pots may be hired for a small fee.
Owner Nic Welch has fished the Gold Coast waterways all his life, and will gladly share his local knowledge of where and how to catch a feed of fresh fish or crabs during your boating adventure!
